Great Staff clean rooms and very comfortable setting. Walmart 1 mile away. Fast food close by. Gas station C store next door
I was really hesitant to book here due to all the bad reviews, but I’m glad that I did. The rooms were clean, they were just a little rundown. The shower and tub had paint pieces broken off, and it was rusty and a little gross just because of the look. The sink in the bathroom was also a little janky and would spray water everywhere. But other than that, the beds were clean, and so was everything else. I saw in one review that during WeFest the ac wasn’t working for them. We also stayed during WeFest and we had the opposite problem lol, our room was freezing cold the whole time. But I didn’t mind. But what made the stay worth it, was the front desk. They were nice the second that we walked in, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They answered all of our questions and when there was a mixup about pricing, they solved it immediately. I ended up having to cut our stay short by a day, and I think her name was Cheyenne, went out of her way to find us a solution that saved us the most money. So even though the rooms were a little rundown, the people made it worth it.The location was great as well.
Clean hotel, pleasant Staff. Slightly older decor but, definitely a decent value stay. Highly recommend
This was my first time staying at this hotel so I don't know to much about it or what it all offers. What I do know is the rooms are nice and clean with a microwave and a mini fridge, air conditioning, laundry service which I like and you can open the windows also. I would stay again and recommend it.

This place gets a bad rap in this review section. It is not a homeless shelter. The hotel is owned by the tribe that operates the shooting Star casino.some employees that work for the casino stay here long-term. The upgraded me to the Sweet room with a jacuzzi whirlpool for the same rate. Brent the security officer was Manning the roller Dog grill and offered me food and a Coke. I found the room clean and the people were very friendly and accommodating. I reviewed a lot of hotels so give me a little credit when they say sketchy this is not sketchy if you want to read about sketchy hotels look at my past reviews. IE international falls Minnesota....
So nice and cozy, staying an extra night. Balance of charming older features and well kept standard hotel. Affordable. Simple. Great customer service, personal. They have private jacuzzi rooms. Pleasant. Bad reviews are wrong and made up. It's a well kept secret in Detroit lakes.
Pretty high on the value curve. They got a pool and jacuzzi. I booked my room for under a hundred.
